Resource of the month – August
AIMING HIGH FOR DISABLED CHILDREN (AHDC) is a national three-year transformation programme to improve services for disabled children, young people and their families.
The vision is for all families with disabled children to have the support they need to live ordinary family lives by improving access and empowerment, responsive services and timely support, quality and capacity.
In Hampshire, services are focused around the AHDC national core offer, a set of standards which families with disabled children can expect from the services provided by local authorities.
There are some really useful resource packs available on the Hampshire gov website. Hard copies are also available (a small cost may be charged).
